Programs

The Business Architects Association® has several important programs underway and in progress:

Certification and Education Program

The Certified Business Architect (CBA®) certificate is the BAA professional certification for Business Architects.  It sets the definition of a Business Architect as: “One who has received their CBA™,” and provides employers and prospective clients with a clear, reliable and objective evaluation of the skills of a professional Business Architect.   The CBA™ is conferred to those who pass the CBA Exam™.  Completion of a BAA-accredited Business Architecture program is a prerequisite for certification.

The BAA is currently working on its more advanced Master Business Architect (MBARCH)™ Program, which will be the highest designation of competency for Business Architects, recommended for those who lead Business Architecture Groups in corporations. The BAA will also launch its CBA Updates™ Continuing Education Program. It is designed to keep its members’ knowledge current, while placing the least possible burden on their time.

Membership Program

The BAA maintains a membership program designed for professionals who wish to support and become involved in BAA activities.

The BAA is a volunteer nonprofit professional organization. Money donated goes directly to research, supporting the activities of the organization and furthering the profession. No one involved in the BAA is paid, we rely on the kind donations of time from our dedicated members.

Knowledge Sharing Program

The BAA offers numerous channels for Business Architecture professionals to meet, get to know one another and help each other to advance their knowledge and careers.

Research and Publication Program

The BAA research and publication is conducted through a separate entity, the Business Architects Association Institute™ (BAA Institute™).  The BAA Institute™ is the “keeper of the content,” including its Body of Knowledge and suggested course curriculums.  ( www.baainstitute.com )

Corporate Sponsorship Program

The BAA welcomes the active participation of corporations in crafting the future of the Business Architect's profession, since they will be the primary beneficiaries of this work. The BAA Corporate Sponsorship Program includes financial support for current activities and a voice in setting the direction of the profession.
