What is the main reason to become a member? Members are invited to join the Business Architects Forum where they can get in contact with each other, provide and receive job leads and contacts, and ask and receive answers to technical and nontechnical questions they are facing on the job.
Who is a member? Our members work as independent consultants and managers in mid-size organizations, as well as some of the largest corporations including Kraft, Abbott, Accenture, Motorola, McDonalds, Discover, W.W. Grainger, Oracle, Deloitte Touche, MorningStar, ATT, Federal Reserve Bank, CNA Insurance, Peoplesoft and Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Employers value the horsepower our members bring to the table not only from their own strengths, but also from the strength of the collective knowledge and resources to which our members have access through the Business Architects Assocation forums.
How long has the Business Architects Association been in existence? The BAA was formed in June of 2004 and incorporated at the end of that year.
How often does it hold networking events? Several networking events per year are held in Chicago, where the organization was formed, with the goal to hold events in other cities as its membership grows.
Is the Business Architects Association® incorporated? Yes, it is incorporated in the state of Illinois as a nonprofit corporation.
Who is on the Board of Directors? The Board is comprised of Certified Business Architects who, like the members they serve, benefit from the services they provide. Board members understand the issues, have the same needs and focus on effectively and efficiently delivering benefits that make a difference. They are all unpaid volunteers.
